When I enter Turbotax License code to activate Turbotax, I get error code 606. I have entered the license code correctly. How can I fix this issue?

The suggestion of the TurboTax expert I talked to, was to take my copy of Turbotax to Costco and return or exchange it for another copy. Is that the only way to resolve this error 606 issue?

When I enter the License code to activate Turbotax, I receive an error code:   606.

I have entered the license code correctly.  Why am I receiving this error message?  Why is it not allowing me to activate Turbotax.  I purchased it from  Staples.

The license code that was issued to you is not working.  You should return this product to the point where you purchased it and request a new one or download the product direct from TurboTax.

That code means you are entering an invalid license code. 

Make sure enter exactly the 16-character combination of letters and numbers you received for the license code.
