I'm filing taxes for the first time. How do I transfer my disability tax credit to my parents? I am using TurboTax online

All you have to do on your return is claim the disability credit. Then your parents would claim the transfer on their return. For guidance, please see our TurboTax FAQ How do I claim the Disability Tax Credit transferred from my dependant?

Does this mean that the person with the disability claims it and then the parents claim it again? Thank you for clarifying.

@gg9999 The parent or guardian approved on the DTC application form may claim the disability amount for their child. For more information please refer to this link: Who can claim for a dependent.
