Just changing my home desktop. Which machine should I load new turbotax software on and then how do I import prior years data??

Which desktop machine should I download 2023 turbo tax software on -- old (still functional) or new desktop?

You can use either computer if they meet the minimum specifications for TurboTax Desktop. You can also put it on both, since you can install the software on up to 3 computers.

To transfer a return, choose File > Transfer 2022 Return > then choose the return you want to transfer.

where do i find select?

To transfer a return, choose File > Transfer 2023 Return > then choose the return you want to transfer. Or scroll to the bottom of the page and if you don't see the return you want to transfer, click Browse.
