No option for refund advance when i checkout

I have been a turbo tax customer for 10 plus years. I got the advance 2 times and still use my CK account.... I was even sent an email saying get ur refund advance when u start your taxes today..  so I did and no option for the advance. Anyone else have these same issues. I'm so confused.

    Don't listen to the tax lady. I think it's a turbo tax glitch. I've cried too. It's so frustrating when I could've gone somewhere else. I called credit karma, turbo tax and they say First Century Bank will tell you why you're not eligible in an email. The email never comes and the bank site says do not contact about turbo tax advance. I check all the boxes for edible so tax lady is wrong. They didn't change them and not say. There's a lit of boxes to check and I meet the requirements AND had the option of an advance and still didn't work.

    I just talked to turbo tax again because I talked to credit karma and they said my application as started but not completed. Well I know I completed it on my end and the glitch is on their end and they said there is nothing they can do about it now. I am so mad about it. I will be taking my stuff somewhere else.

    I’ve been trying to get it to work as well. I just got off the phone with them and after asking if my refund was over 500 dollars ( it’s expected to be almost 11,000) the gentleman apologized and said I’m not seeing the option because I do not meet the requirements. He could not explain to me why I’ve received it for the last three years, and although nothing has changed for me why this year I do not meet the requirements. I asked if it was because I’m not a first time user with turbo tax? Also could not explain why I would receive an email from turbo tax a few weeks ago offering the service of an advance as soon as I could Efile in late January! Weird right ? Also I would like to know why “ I’m ineligible” for TT but I’m eligible for an advance if I submit my return with H&R Block?  There is a lot of unanswered questions here for not only myself but a large portion of the TurboTax community however, I have my answer to whom I will be filing my taxes with from here on out. It’s sad I’ve been with TT since I was a teenager and did my first return but this is absolutely ridiculous and I have no desire to continue with this  ridiculous facade anymore. ✌️

    So it’s very shady and misleading because you can’t see the option until after you pay and even then it only shows two options 1. Credit karma 5 days early or 2. Another card option and right below it in (blue I think) it says “no thank you” and you have to click on that for it to show you the refund advance option. I did it and it approved me, I’ve done it 3 yrs in a row and then at the very end it said “ oops sorry not available rn, we’re aware of the issue” so I just didn’t pick a deposit option yet or sign. Now going back on it doesn’t even show that option, not sure if it has to do with the govt account freeze yest or the site. They also didn’t apply my promo code and they never honor the $25 referral coupons they offer I’ve done it many times and the only reason I stick with them is for this advance option otherwise they are super shady!!!

    I received the same email and filed taxes on 1/31 and did not give no option for a advanced refund

    With how many people don't have it, maybe the funds ran out early this year. It would only make sense. They DID have the option. Now they do NOT have the option.

    Yes I’m having the same exact issue. Had CK 2 years now and got the advance last tax season and this year I wasn’t given the option.

    is there a way i can still apply for this service?... I did the advance payment option last year but didn't see the option for it this year

    I see the option on the app but not on my desktop

    The refund advance option is only available on the TurboTax online web-based editions, not the desktop editions.

    I was approved for the refund advance but when I accept the terms and conditions and submit Credit Karma tells me something went wrong and are unable to open a money spend account for me at this time. It says to try and refresh the page if that doesnt help then try again at a later time or contact customer support. I refreshed paged, I tried again later and the next day too still getting same message. So I contact customer support just to be told there is nothing they can do about it. That this just happens sometimes and they dont know why. I asked for manager and was told same thing from the manager. I even tried to open an account and then file my taxes straight from the account and received same exact message. Anybody have any ideas on what I can do? Thank you

    This year was a little complicated to get to the advanced option for me. Basically I didn’t see it at first just the direct deposit in 21 days or so. I’ve gotten advanced for a couple years already.  Anyway I got out of the app went back in hit review again and it showed how I wanted to get my refund there was an option of “revisit” after clicking that it was automatically clicked on the option of “last years method” I kept scrolling down to the rest of the options which were 5 days early, instant refund with advance, and direct depost. I clicked the advance option it told me if I wanted to keep my credit karma money account or something like that but I hit continue with advance it then took me to some questions I believe, and it showed I already had an account with the credit karma money  so I just keep going with that and the sign, agree with the “loan” and it finally took me to a screen with all my info stating my advance and refund will be deposited to my credit karma money. No need to make a new checking account or anything it will all go back to the one from last year. ( which I thought I had not make a new one which no biggie I would of in order to get the advanced lol ) Not even 20 minutes later I get an email saying my advance has  been deposited! Hope this helps if you haven’t already found a solution. Hope this helps anyone coming here for answers like I did
