NO, do not enter your banking information on this public website for everyone using the internet to find.  We cannot enter anything for you.   You have to do that for yourself

HOW TO CHANGE OR ENTER BANKING INFORMATION FOR REFUND

You cannot  change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.  The IRS does not allow it.

There could be a couple of reasons why you might be experiencing a delay:

1. First, the status might be pending for security reasons. This may be a sign that someone is trying to use your identity to file a tax return. This can take up to 72 hours, after which your return will then be forwarded to the IRS, or if applicable, rejected. If rejected, you can then correct the rejection issue and resubmit. Please see this FAQ for reference.

2. Secondly, there could be a delay if your return has various refundable credits, such as the Earned Income Credit, Investment Credit, Energy Credits, or Business Credits. You may need to wait a few more days and check your filing status again. Please see this FAQ for additional information.

Note: Both instances may be applicable. That is, you could have a hold for security reasons first. And additionally for verification of the refundable credits in your return. In this case, delays might extend beyond 72 hours.

Additionally, if you have Form 5695 and claiming joint occupancy, the IRS will not be accepting these returns until 3/16/25. You can see this on this IRS site. The language you see below is from Row 39 of the Tax Year 2024 spreadsheet.

Taxpayers claiming Joint Occupancy on Form 5695 will have to file via paper if filing their return before the Form 5695 schema is updated in mid-March. This temporary limitation should only impact a subsection of Form 5695 filers.  For a preview of the TY24 draft form and instructions for Form 5695, please see the Draft tax forms on IRS.gov at https://www.irs.gov/draft-tax-forms. Submission of Forms 5695 that do not claim Joint Occupancy may be e-filed at the start of Processing Year 2025

TurboTax gives an estimate based on averages, but does not have information specific to your refund and timing.

You can check your refund status using the information provided HERE.

When you filed the tax return it was Accepted by the IRS.  Accepted and Approved are totally different.

If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions

Hello there I was wondering if you guys got your fees yet for my return

February 20, 2025

Hey

February 22, 2025

I recently amended my 2024 tax return because I received two different W-2 forms in the mail. After adding them, the instructions indicated to download a PDF to print and mail. However, it also stated to stop if no payment is due, yet at the bottom, it shows a payment of $151 is due. Additionally, it mentions that I can pay on mytax.illinois.gov, and my homepage instructs me to mail in my amended state return. I am confused as to why I have to pay anything please help.

It depends. By adding the additional W2's, you now owe $151.  If you received a refund in your original return, you will still receive the refund. The $151 is additional and must be mailed to the state.

The states do not have the ability to offset what you owe against your original refund so they must handle these two events separately.

Thank you for the response. I have paid the $151 electronically. My last question is, the paper mentioned that if I pay electronically, I do not have to mail the form. Does this mean just the voucher for the $151? I assume I still have to mail the amended form.

Thanks.
