Importing your data

I'm trying to verify that TurboTax calculates the imported Questrade T5008 slips correctly (with the Cost Base value Box 20) to make sure the software isn't over-calculating gains.In the Income Summary in Turbo Tax, I see the sum of the dispositions (box 21) under the Investments line, but I don't see the corresponding deductions (box 20) anywhere else in the software, or in the losses summary. From what I can see, it appears as if the dispositions were accounted, but not the cost base.Does anyone else use Turbo Tax? Do I just "trust" that this is right or do I have to manually enter the slips using the adjusted gain (i.e. disposition less cost base).Thank you in advance for any help, it's my first time trying to do this

Can I enter my pension income and expenses manually?

Turbotax pulled all T5008 slips from CRA. One of them is for sale of shares in a non-registered account that was contributed to TFSA in kind. Can you confirm that I should not be including this particular T5008 (it was a capital loss) in my return? Thanks 

Hello,In TurboTax online, when I am attempting to import my T4s etc. I get to page "Automatically fill in part of your return", but there is no button/link to the CRA website.  How do I do the import?

You may have information entered regarding your property roll number that was carried forward from previous year. If this is no longer accurate, please remove it.

how do i transfer my information from last year

i called the hep center and explained the issue. Last night got a reply "We investigated the issue and confirmed that CRA does not always have all the information you needed on Autofill. That is why you have some (T4) imported and the others (T5, T5008) are not. We advise that you call the providers of the affected T-slips and enter the data manually." this is not correct since I can pull the slips through wealthsimple.

Any training I've had is through work which was all paid for, so I'm confused on this one

I have done my taxes using desktop Turbotax for several years however for 2022 I used an accountant ; do I need to start over with all my information if I am using Turbo tax again for 2023? I don't see a way to copy over my information

It asks the question about transferring the information but only gives you the options of YES help me sign in or NO don't transfer, which makes you enter everything again.
